We are a children's day nursery who needed a new sewage treatment plant, which is not a good situation to be in! It was due to cost tens of thousands of pounds. UKDP took our problem to our insurers and they agreed to accept our claim for a complete replacement. UKDP liaised with our insurers all the way through the work and kept us updated throughout the process. Paul Brooks from UKDP has been particularly helpful in communicating with insurers regarding some tricky aspects of our claim. Not having a clue about the mechanics of a septic tank it was brilliant to find a company who would take full control of the issue and claim the costs on my insurance policy.
They came 50 miles to examine the tank, made an insurance claim on my behalf, attended when the insurers made their assessment, then appointed contractors. Every step along the way I was kept fully informed by polite and efficient staff who never once had to be chased.
What could have been an expensive nightmare transpired to be a very minor inconvenience and the only cost to me, as they promised, was my insurance excess.
